Abstract

Today business is at fast pace and is generating and collecting huge amount of data, whether it is interaction between customers, retailers or suppliers, each and every aspect is being collected and analysed for knowledge extraction and is applied for better decision making. Business Intelligence is a process for extracting, transforming, managing and analyzing large data by make a mathematical model to gain information and knowledge to help make decisions for process improvement and growth. The case deals with the application of business intelligence at ICICI bank, a technology driven and customer centric organizations bank for their debt collection process and for unification of reporting system. It provides the insights of the challenges faced by ICICI bank and how application of business intelligence approach helped bank in process improvement and finally growth of organization.
