Abstract

Numerous factors contribute to investors’ decision to invest in such areas. The main objective of this study has been to analyze the elements influencing the investors’ decision to invest in industries of undeveloped and deprived regions. The study was carried out within the framework of three distinct theories. The bibliographic method was used to compile the theoretical subjects while the field method was deployed to collect the needed data in order to prove theorems. The statistical population of the present research include the entire investors in the industries of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-ahmad region. The tools of collecting data include a questionnaire containing 22 questions, 20 of which are devised on Likert's scale and in ‘closed’ form and 2 are designed in ‘open’ form. According to results obtained in this study, the economic factors have higher capability to forecast the decisions made by investors in deprived and undeveloped regions, while political, social and cultural factors influence those decisions to a lesser extent respectively.
