The aim of this research is investigating Marvdasht Municipality's permanent financing methods and its relation with its performance. In line with the research purpose, one main hypothesis and three peripheral ones were made, dealing with the relation between 1. Municipality's consumption rates and its performance, 2. The rates resulting from construction and the municipality's performance, and 3. The municipality's self-sufficiency plans and its performance. The research sample consists of managers and experts from Marvdasht municipality. By purpose, this research is an applied one and of correlation type. The sample consists of 218 people who were simply selected and questioned by random. The instrument for data collection in the research was a questionnaire, the reliability of which was confirmed by 92-percent Chronbach's alpha, and the validity of which was determined by its content validity which was confirmed by the experts. After distributing the questionnaires and collecting them, we began analyzing the data via SPSS software. The results of the research revealed a direct relation between the rates resulting from construction and the municipality's performance (r=0.54) as well as a direct association between the municipality's consumption rates and self-sufficiency plan and its performance (r=0.43, 0.49).
