This paper attempts to reveal the dynamics of intellectual capital research and the different dimensions that has been explored in this area during the past two decades. The Journay of intellectual capital (IC) research has been segregated into three distinct stages covering a wide ragne of the concept, relevance, measurement, management and reporting based on the extant literature. With the birth of each research stage unfolding its observations, intellectual capital has begun to celebrate its share of increased relevance. The observed three stages of IC research has paved the way for fourth stage offering more dimensions of IC that need to be explored.
