Productivity of SBI & Associates and other Indian Commercial Banks in E-Age: A Review Paper

The efficiency of all operations is enhanced in the era of electronics age. The implementation of computerization has brought the drastic change in the all industries. As this change was abide by all over the world for the automation of the process and to be at par with the technology update, the India also adopted this change in almost all sectors so was done by the banking industry also. Various decisions were taken by the government of India time to time for the betterment of the industry and to be at par with the world an side by side they have to follow all the standards set by regulating authorities. This paper will focus on the review of literature particularly in banking industry in India. Main focus of the study will be to find and study the literature on State bank of India and its associate banks. But we will also study the other banking sectors also because here we are talking about the holistic view of whole banking industry. By reviewing the earlier literature in the related specified field it will be easy to find the further research problem and it will also insights that what kind of work has already been done by the earlier researchers so that the base can be created fir the further study. It will also enhance the knowledge base on the specified field of study.
