This study reports the results of an empirical investigation of the extent of financial disclosure practices of top 30 banks of India. It also reports the results of association between company size and financial web disclosure practices of selected banking companies. A disclosure checklist of 23 items of financial information is developed and statistical analysis is performed using one way ANOVA. The study reveals that Indian banks are disclosing considerable amount of financial information on their websites. The findings also indicate that size is insignificant in explaining the level of web based financial disclosure practices of sampled banking companies.
