Present financial market is so vivid and diverse in nature that numerous instruments and services are available to investors to park their financial savings. However, financial illiteracy, overconfidence and herding behavior of individual investorshave led to decline in net returns from their investment. Technological developments like online trading have also negatively impacted due to frequent trading for short term gains. The study tries to understand the motives for investment decisions and to identify the determinants of Investment Behavior of individual investors from Middle East region. Among the motives for investment, long term growth, high return, post retirement income etc dominate among investors while liquidity factor was also considered in their investments. Among the factors considered while investing, investor‟s ability to take investment decisions and investor's efforts on investment had the highest impact level.
