The synthesis features and the properties of an aminoquinoid redox-polymer based on Polyethyleneimine and Chloranil have been studied. The structure of a redox-polymer so obtained has been corroborated by elemental analysis and IR-spectroscopy data. The sorption capacity of samples with respect to perrhenate ions has been studied through polarography. Sorption has been observed on the basis of model solutions NH4ReO4, at different pH, various concentrations of primary solutions and different duration of exposure. Comparative data in respect of the sorption of perrhenate ions by industrial designs are set forth herein.
