The study revealed specific identities for the plant, which will be useful in identification as a control to abet adulterants and for future standardisation work. Physiochemical study shows total ash (8.7%) acid insoluble ash (1.5%) water soluble extractive value (3.25%) total tannin (20μg/ml), volatile oil content (1%). Phytochemical study revealed that inorganic salt, carbohydrate, tannin, terpenoids are present.
