Water pollution due to release of industrial wastewater has already become a serious problem in almost every Industry using dyes to colour their products and the residual and unspent dyes are discharged into the environment particularly aquatic environment. Normally wastewater is conducted to treatment plants for removing undesirable components which include both organic and inorganic matters as well as soluble and insoluble materials. In this article adsorbent such as baggase is used for the treatment of wastewater. This adsorbent is waste from sugar industry. This is easily available in our country and is economical than the adsorbents of other processes used for the treatment of wastewater.
