Abstract

Developed Absorption Ratio Method is a simple, rapid, accurate and robust spectroscopic method for simultaneous estimation of Dicyclomine Hydrochloride and Dexketoprofen Trometamol in bulk and Synthetic mixture. The wavelengths selected for Absorption ratio method were 260.0 nm (λmax of DEX) and 311.5 nm(iso-absorptive point). Linearity range was found to be 14–24 μg/mL for Dicyclomine and 35–60 μg/mL for Dexketoprofen with r2 value more than 0.999. Various validation parameters like linearity-range, precision, accuracy, robustness, LOD and LOQ were checked. % RSD was found to be less than 2 for repeatability and intermediate precision. % Recovery was found 99.025 ± 0.38 and 101.233 ± 0.18 for Dicyclomine Hydrochloride and Dexketoprofen Trometamol respectively. The developed method can be successfully applied for simultaneous estimation of Dicyclomine Hydrochloride and Dexketoprofen Trometamol.
