The privatization of professional education sector in Punjab: an Analysis

The study primarily deals with the growing private initiative in the professional education sector in Punjab. The over-all analysis shows that more than eighty seven per cent of the colleges/institutes supplying professional higher education in the state were under private ownership. The study suggests the massive involvement of public resources in order to ensure wider access and equity in professional higher education in the state.
