This article discusses some idioms in English and Karakalpak and their meaning. Particular emphasis is placed on animal idioms, and in English animal idioms are far superior than other idioms, both quantitatively and quality, and the number of animal idioms is increasing every year. Also it explores the similarities and differences between the idioms of the two languages.
