The research paper is an effort to identify and analyze the factors affecting job satisfaction and migration behavior of the contract laborers working in manufacturing firms in the National Capital Region. It is found in the research study that quality of service condition in the current job is the most influencing factor affecting the satisfaction of a contract worker followed by level of satisfaction in the current job, wage satisfaction and working conditions. However a worker gives more importance to wages as compared to the working conditions. Indicating the fact that even if the working conditions are bad a worker will continue to work as he is receiving higher wages, so he doesn't mind comprising on the working conditions whether they are safe or unsafe, healthy or unhygienic.
