Abstract

Lifestyle is the way a person lives. It includes; way of living, way of thinking and the way of social expression. The way of living is the bundle of behavior of individual and the leisure is one of that behaviors. It is the engagement of network activities which are freely chosen by the individual and that kind of engagement is always enjoyable to that person. Trend of that kind of engagement in rural Bengal has slowly changed during the period of 1980s and onwards through the intrusion of media technology in rural society. This paper tried to assesses the pattern of leisure through the case study. Now the people of Bankura District are engaging in passive leisure than active and creative one.
