Profile on railway commuters – A case study of sealdah station, Kolkata

Communiting is very important in present day context, specially in urban studies.Most of the metropolitian city surrounded by its commuter belt which is largely impact of urban environment.With the increase of transport accessibility, people can move long distance.Transport infrasturucture determine level of accessibility of people and commodities.Commuter rail is the key mode of transport which carries maximum number of passengers.My research has been intended to draw the characteristic of commuters who use train in their transportation and its problems.
