A study of the attitude of untrained and trained teachers towards teaching profession

Teacher education course should seek to reshape the attitude, remodel the habits and in ways to reconstitute the personality of teacher. The main objective of teacher education – Development of the ability to take care of himself (a) adjustment with the physical condition; (b) healthy adjustments with the social environment, so as to strike his roots into the soil, wherever he is posted; (c) adjustment, with himself, so as not only to feel reconciled with his lot as a teacher, but to appreciate to peculiar advantages of the position as compared with persons in other vacation. In the present study researcher studied the attitude of untrained &trained teachers toward their teaching profession in Haldwani city of uttrakhand. The researcher founded that trained teacher have more positive attitude toward teaching profession then untrained one. Hence we can say that, B.Ed., programme was successful in putting impression towards teaching attitude, teaching profession, classroom teaching educational process behaviour with pupils and concept of teacher.
