In the era of economic reforms in 1991, India took up financial reforms in the country. New concepts of Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) have emerged in the country. While the Indian government invited the FDI to boost up the Indian Industrial and Infrastructural sector, flow of FDI have came in to the country. There has been a widely accepted view that FDI flows to India would accelerate the over time given to the positive medium to longer-term prospects for the economy. The performance of the economic reforms so far has been encouraging. These kinds of investments boost up the Indian Industrial and Infrastructural sector and further strengthen the country in the globe. With the liberalization policy, the new concept of technology sharing emerged between countries.
The present paper examines the impact of FDI in Indian media as well as the impact of FDI on the Indian economy. The methodology of the paper is descriptive and explorative in nature.
