Abstract

Job satisfaction or employee satisfaction survey aims at measuring and assessing, employee's feeling and thinking about different aspects of their jobs and job environment. It measures the extent to which people like (satisfaction) or dislike (dissatisfaction) their jobs. Further job satisfaction surveys investigate the various factors which influence the level of employee job satisfaction. Such an investigation may enable managers to understand how employees form the attitudes that affect their job satisfaction. This knowledge helps HR professionals to understand and appreciate employee preferences while developing HR programs and policies that can influence employee satisfaction
