The purpose of this paper is to cultivate a risk identification specification for enabling user firms to surface, establish and accomplish potential risks connected with the post-adoption of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. By analyzing and combining the literature review, we recognize and recommend ERP post implementation hazards related to varied operational, systematic, organization-wide and technical facets. Risk ontology is subsequently recognized to highlight these ERP risks, as well as to present their probable causal relationships. There is a lack of studies focusing on ERP post-implementation in contrast with an surplus of studies focusing on system employment and project management aspects. This paper targets to fill this substantial research gap by awarding risk ontology of ERP post-adoption.
