Abstract

The present phase is the phase of jobless growth. Although jobs are available, but either the number of jobs is very low or these are in specified areas only. No job security is there. No regular jobs are available. Thus, the tendency to become self employed, especially among women, has been increasing. The broad objective of the study is to analyze the pattern of the self-employed women and the specific problems faced by women.
