Abstract

The act of breastfeeding has been defined as a substance of natural law rather than as an issue of choice and subject to social and cultural pressure. For the last few decades breastfeeding as an act of human reproduction has renewed the need for a critical interpretation of breastfeeding in social and cultural rather than merely natural terms. The present paper is an attempt to understand social and cultural implications of milk Kinship.
