Abstract

This paper represents qualitative attributes describing harmony between Body, Mind and Spirit (BMS) and its relationship with Work Life Balance. It proposes a model based on Maslow's need hierarchy theory, which proclaims that the five needs of Maslow's theory correspond to and are derivative of the three elements namely: body, mind and spirit. It recommends that Work Life Balance can be attained by developing harmony between these three elements and in order to gauge the Work Life Balance, practitioners need to gauge and evaluate the BMS Quotient.
