Emergence of Islam and Muslim society in Bengal: A socio-historical analysis and ethnicity

The present paper is an endeavor to delineate the appearance of Islam in the soil of West Bengal and the dynamics of the Muslim society in this region from historical to present contexts. To analyse the social history of the Muslims of this Indian state various secondary sources of data were gathered mostly from a variety of in print resources.
