Abstract

Nutrition is the provision, to cells and organisms, of the materials necessary (in the form of food) to support life. Many common health problems can be prevented or alleviated with a healthy nutritious diet. This paper examines the eating habits and its associated nutritional risk using a Nutritional Risk Score of the Echo Boomers; those born in-between 1979–1994. A descriptive research with judgmental sampling technique elicited data from 70 respondents. Results revealed that was no significant difference in the Nutritional Risk Score as far as the sex and the age group of the respondents were considered. Although 24% of the respondents were at Nutritional Risk, the mean score was just 3.78 which were below the threshold level of 6. It was also concluded that the mean score of the genders were not statistically different.
