Last two decades have been characterized with great emphasis put on manager's empowerment by the management of organizations. In fact, optimum realization of goals and fulfillment of mission happen when the employees and the manager in particular are adopted based on meritocracy. Higher education managers need to be concerned about entrepreneurship in general and organizational entrepreneurship in specific. They are supposed to take it as one of the main factors of survival and development of the organization in the changing and intensely competitive market of the modern world. Traditional methods are no longer effective to deal with the nowadays issues nor are future problems solvable through forecasting the future and the emphasis must be on creating insight into the future. The present paper tries to survey the role of managers empowerment in improvement of entrepreneurship and to this end a case study of Islamic Azad University, Central Tehran Unit was under focus. Statistical population of the study was 300 individual and a pilot sampling was conducted to obtain standard deviation. After sampling, 154 questionnaires were used as the basis of analyses. Taking into consideration the large number of the aspects of the questionnaire, path analyzing modeling was conducted in AMOS. The results highlighted that all the estimated paths were significant; that is the aspects of managers empowerment were significance and the hypothesis regarding effectiveness of the aspects of managers empowerment was supported.
