Organizational Intelligence and Examination of Its Relationship with Employees’ Performance (Case study: Supreme Audit Court)

Abstract

The promotion of the organizations’ capacity in effective utilization of all the existent and accessible intellectual capital and the increase of their ability to respond to the varying environmental needs, are the main goal of managers and leaders in the third millennium. Organizational intelligence is one of the components that should be possessed by the present era managers, in order to manage their subordinate organizations, by obtaining a deep knowledge. The aim of this study is evaluation of organizational intelligence in supreme audit court and examination of its relationship with employees’ performance. This research is an applied research and the research method is descriptive and in correlation type. The statistical universe contains all of the employees of central headquarters of supreme audit court in 2012 and a sample of 260 people was chosen by simple random sampling. The main means for collecting data included 2 questionnaires of the organizational intelligence and employees’ performance appraisal. After confirming its reliability and measuring its validity, it was distributed among statistical sample. Analyzing data has done by SPSS and in two level: descriptive and inferential statistic. Results showed that the level of OI in supreme audit court was intermediate. Also, there was a significant relationship between the OI and all of its elements, and employees’ performance. Furthermore, the most impressive dimensions in employees’ performance were respectively shared fate, strategic vision and alignment and congruence.
