Conflict and Peace are terms that are exhaustively stressed expression, but lack universally agreed definition. Nonetheless, generally, it is held by many that peace is the result of a successful resolution or settlement or management of conflict. In essence, conflict is an inevitable element required in comprehending the concept of peace, which is indispensable for the well-being of humankind. This research article attempts to articulate that the long-drawn political conflict in Nagaland has the potential to disturb a peaceful atmosphere in India in general and Northeast India in particular.
