The relationship between individual values and organizational deviant behavior (Organization for Economic Affairs and Finance of Sanandaj city and affiliated organizations)

The present study explores the relationship between personal values and deviant behaviors Based on Milton Rokeach, individual values can be divided into two dimensions. It is tried to examine the relationship between the dimensions of organizational deviant behavior based on the model of Robinson and Bennett via two dimensions of the organization and employees. The research is applied and descriptive-heuristic which is based on the individual functions which tries to reduce employees' deviant behaviors. The population were the employees of Economic Affairs and Finance Organization and its subsidiaries in the city of Sanandaj. The sample size was determined by the method of Morgan (n= 183). For this purpose, a questionnaire based on personal values proposed by Milton Rokeach and deviant behaviors questionnaire Model Based on Robinson and Bennett was prepared and adjusted. The reliability of the questionnaire was carried out using Cronbach's alpha and the results were 0.945 and 0.859, respectively. The validity of the tests were obtained through exploratory factor analysis and the desired results were achieved. The results showed that the status of variables and appropriate values of individual deviant behavior are low. It also became clear that there is a significant relationship between the subscales of personal values and organizational deviant behavior. There is no significant difference between the mean values of individual and organizational deviant behavior in terms of demographic variables. The final results of the analysis showed that a model for the relationship between individual values and organizational deviant behaviors can be presented.
