The article discusses the problem of structural changes both in the area of the whole world economy, and in individual regions of the world, as well as in selected national economies, considering the following areas:
GDP generation
Sectoral employment, and
Processing industry.
The article shows the occurring tendencies and differences among regions and selected national economies, taking into consideration both quantitative and qualitative data. The analysis of these changes was conducted on the basis of statistical source materials and reports of the world centres and institutions.
