Abstract

Employment is the source of wage incomes. Living conditions of tribal labourers depend on the wages they receive. Studies pointed out that amidst poverty, illiteracy and ignorance, diseases and lack of awareness plague the very lives of the tribals. This paper throws light on the aspects related to the nature of employment, family income and living conditions of tribal labourers in the study area.
