Nowadays, English is becoming more important nowadays. Therefore it can be serious issue to understand, analyze and test English language students beliefs and perception about learning English in order to intensify students’ expertise. So that, this study was developed to compare Iranian high school students and teachers with institute students and teachers in aspect of beliefs about English learning. A sample of 47 students studying at private language institutes aged 20–27 were randomly selected, and also 47 high school students who did not go to English class. Questionnaires of beliefs were submitted to the participants. In the second part of the research the same questionnaire about beliefs were submitted to 36 institute teachers and 36 high school teachers and then analyzed to determine how different they are. Results suggest that in the questionnaire of beliefs, in 45 percent of the questions there were significant differences students and also 45 percent for teachers. This study may facilitate the course developers to design the English language course according to the international standards.
