Effectiveness of Educational and Training Centers in Achieving the Goals

The aim of this research study was to investigate the amount of success in educational and training centers. The study was also aimed at finding the amount of success in the seven main fundamental objectives of such centers. This was a descriptive research study. The population under study was consisted of all the managers and assistant managers of educational and training centers of the city of Esfahan and its neighbouring regions (a number of 986 people). Using stratified sampling method which is proportional to the population size volume and is based on Cochran Formula, 276 people were selected as samples. The face and content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by experts and participants. The reliability of the questionnaire was estimated by Alpha cronbach method of investigation and was 0.88. To analysis the data the researcher used one sample t test, Friedman test, and Multivariate Analysis of Variance. The results of the study showed that the highest average in the ranking part was related to the dimension of management improvement and the facilitation of supervision and guidance. In contrast, the lowest average in the ranking part was related to the dimension of organizing optimality in staffs. The amount of achievement in the seven goals of Educational equity, Improvement in management supervision and guidance role of educational system, Productivity and quality of the educational system, Human resources organizing, Facilitating information exchange, Optimum use of services, facilities and equipment, Promoting team work and improving the cultural role of school was more than average in the educational and training centers. There was no significant difference between respondents ‘views with regards to the role of the establishment of educational and training centers in different dimensions (using gender, educational status, working experience, status, and field of study as the variable). In contrast, the was a significant difference between respondents’ views with regards to the role of establishing educational and training centers in different dimensions based on location.
