Studying on the Relation between Teachers’ Creativity of Gorgan High School with their Idealistic Realistic Attitude in Year 2010–2011

Abstract

The present research was done to find the relationship between Gorgan High schools teacher's creativity and their realistic and idealistic approach. The method used was descriptive. and the population included all teachers teaching in Gorgan city at high school level. They were 821 people (465 females and 356 males) in the educational yest of 2010-2011-. Random sampling was done. Finally, according to Kerjsy and Morgan content table, 262 students were selected. Two questionnaires were used to measure creativity (and teachers’ idealistic and realistic approach. The reliability of these two questionnaire, according to Cronbach alpha coefficient were.88 for the creativity questionnaire and.87 for the teachers’ idealistic and realistic approach questionnaire. After data analysis, Findings showed that there is a significant correlation between teachers’ creativity and their realistic and idealistic approach. Teachers with realistic & idealistic approach are more creative than those who do not have with those approaches. Third, idealist teachers are more creative than realist teachers. Finally, there is a significant relationship between teachers’ gender and their realistic and idealistic approach.
