Abstract

Green architecture is derived from architecture and sustainable development which is due to today's human against the impact of the industry in today's world. Preservation of natural resources, immunity from a variety of environmental pollutants, ozone layer protection, physical and mental health, the future of humanity are subject that are raised in this discussion and its necessity as a global task is more evident by the day. In this paper, first with definition of concepts such as sustainability, sustainable development and its relation with architecture and also investigating the opinions of architecture identified the sustainability indicators and then will evaluate the known sustainable buildings in the world and finally will get to the principles of green architecture. Those principles that can supply the user's needs and provide residents health, satisfaction and happiness to do their best to serve the natural world.
