Investigation the role and effect of social trust in societies based on sociological theories

The research investigated role and effects of social trust in societies based on classic and modern sociological theories such as Coleman, Giddens, Fukuyama, Parsons and Inglehart. Coleman believed maintenance and satisfying of resources are necessary in forming of trust. Giddenes believed because of being face to face relationship, trust is not very important in simple communities, but in modem societies trust is very abstract and complicated. In Fukuyama’ point of view: trust is a part of social and economic capital. Also trust between people, is a main cause of forming of new companies, groups and firms. Parsons considered that when trust exists that people leave their personal benefits. Finally, Engelhard’ research showed that there is positive relationship between life satisfaction and happiness with level of economic development.
