Abstract

The present study strived to investigate the perceptions of language teachers with regard to reflection and the ways they could reflect and the processes involved. In addition, the uses of newly introduced online reflection by teachers as well as the problems that hinder the process and application as well as online reflection were investigated. Ten language teachers holding MA degrees participated in the study. The results of this qualitative study showed that language teachers had not received appropriate education in regard to reflective teaching. In terms of using online methods to improve reflection, teachers welcomed the idea; however, they believed that many factors should be considered before going ahead with this procedure. The factors ranged from motivational to financial parts involved in this process.
