In the recent years, organizations have paid attention to improvement quality of working life of their employees as a solution to improve the situation of them. This study has been done with the purpose of measuring component of quality of working life of employees of administrative units in 2013. This study is a descriptive and correlative one. Study population was all the employees of administrative units of Azad University of Mashhad that included 1177 persons. Through Stratified sampling and Cochran formula, 290 employees have been chosen as sample. The tool for collecting data was questionnaires of Quality of working life of Walton. Data has been analyzed by descriptive and analytical statistics such as Pierson, Spearman correlation coefficient, ANOVA and Duncan tests in SPSS software. Findings showed that the quality of working life of studied people is a bit more than average. The result of Pierson correlation coefficient showed quality of working life is correlated with and all of its components except work environment. Furthermore, the Spearman correlation coefficient, T and F tests showed there is no significant relationship between quality of working life and demographic factors. Also ANOVA and Duncan tests showed that there is a meaningful difference in quality of working life of different administrative units. The results of study indicated that for improving of quality of working life in administrative units, more attention should be paid to adequate and fair payment, social integration, constitutionalism and safe and healthy working conditions. The difference in employee’s perception of different units suggests that different strategies should be used for improvement of quality of working life in different working places.
