The Relationship between Psychological Empowerment and Organizational Learning in Industry: Mine and Commerce Organization of Guilan

Environmental challenges of the present era oblige the organizations to search for a method for continuing their survival in terms of rapid technology progress, increasing customers’ expectations and necessity of flexibility. Most of organizations determine the solution of increasing organizational earning and implementation of empowerment plans and attempt to modify the effective variables on people emotion by these plans and take benefit of individual learning and empowerment and cope up with the internal and external barriers and create the required ground for development of employees. Based on the significance of the study, we can investigate the relationship between psychological empowerment and organizational learning in industry, mine and commerce organization of Guilan province. This study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of implementation technique. Questionnaires are used for data collection to test the hypotheses. For evaluation of psychological empowerment, a standard questionnaireof Thomas&Velthous with 12 questions and for organizational learning, standard questionnaire of Jerez-Gomez with 15 questions are designed and measured by Five-item Likert scale. The study population is employees of industry, mine and commerce organization of Guilan province 396 employees and 196 people are selected among them by Krejcie and Morgan Table as study population and are divided in organizational levels based on the dispersion of all forces and the results of questionnaire are investigated at two levels of descriptive and inference statistics (Pearson correlation coefficient, Friedman test). The study findings show that there is a positive and significant relation between psychological empowerment and organizational learning.
