Abu'l-Hassan Tahami is one of the outstanding and authoritative poets of the second Abbasid period. His poems are mostly composed of the eulogies and virtues of individuals which embody advice and wisdom. If we take a close look at the eulogies, we will see that just like Motenabbi, he characterizes the individuals as gallant, majestic, honorable, heroic and handsomely generous. His style resembles that of Motenabbi's in this regard. Description, depiction, imagination, affection and sentiments are the fundamental elements that constitute his lyrics. His use of diverse descriptions and constructive elements has provided this ode with balance and beauty. This paper is an attempt to study the ode's descriptions, materials, constructive elements, imagery, linkages, and literal and semantic interferences.
