Abstract

This study has been implemented to assess the skills of your foot care in diabetic patients attending a diabetes center of Kerman. This semi experimental study was conducted on 100 patients referred to the diabetes clinic. It's a Random sampling with a test group and a control group. Data collection was a questionnaire included demographic questions and self-care records of diabetic patients. Data analysis was performed by using SPSS software and t-test. This study aimed to assess the skills of self-foot care in diabetic patients attending in diabetes center of Kerman. There was a significant relationship between self-care and self-awareness training and education. There was no significant association between self-care behaviors, age, sex, diabetic foot ulcers. According to the results of a study there was a relation between self-care behavior and self-awareness skills. Therefore, we should strengthen the diabetes self-care behaviors, and accompany the self-awareness training package with the care training packages.
