Perception of Education among Adiya Tribes of Wayanad

The concept of development and the attitude of tribal communities have an inversely proportional relation. Many of the development parameters are set after serious analysis on the attitudes of tribes. The attitudes are changed to a great extent. Still in certain areas the results are marginal. This study attempts to reveal the attitude of Adiya tribes towards perception of acquiring education. The study focuses on the reach schooling and parental response towards the concept of education.
