Relationship between Organizational Spirituality and Job Burnout among Electricity Distribution Company's staff

Abstract

Effective management is not possible without considering human factors and psychic needs of staff. In so doing, the present paper aimed to investigate relationship between organizational spirituality and job burnout. Procedure is the correlation method, population included Electricity Distribution Company's staff in one of Iran province which were 153 staff that 108 staff were selected as statistical sample based on Morgan table and simple random sampling method. Results indicated that there were negative and significant relationship among organizational spirituality, job burnout, and depersonalization; therefore, positive and significant relationship between job spirituality and personal accomplishment were confirmed. Also, findings of regression results showed that organizational spirituality was the most effective on decreasing emotional exhaustion compared to other dimensions of job burnout.
