Abstract

Cloud Computing has become the buzz word in today's business and information technology sector. But many businesses are yet to deploy their applications in the cloud fearing the risk involved. Enterprises fear the risks related in deploying their applications with the wrong cloud service provider(CSP). Moreover there are so many CSPs that it becomes very confusing for businesses to choose the right ones for their own unique individual needs. A CSP which is suitable for one enterprise application maybe totally wrong for another. In this work we propose a Fuzzy framework to solve this nontrivial problem of finding the optimal cloud service provider (CSP) based on the enterprise requirements. We look at data about CSP's from CSP's themselves and from data collected from third party cloud monitoring websites. From time immemorial from the instance Moldstov proposed it, soft sets have been used to solve uncertain and multi criteria decision making problems. Hence in this paper we use the fuzzy weighted soft sets to rank the CSPs.
