Influence of Demographic and Work Related Factors on Organizational Climate and Role Stress of IT Employees

The present study focuses on the influence of demographic and work related variables on the organizational climate and role stress of the employees working in IT and IT'es Company in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Data was collected from 540 employees using relay sampling technique and analyzed using the statistical tools namely chi-square and ANOVA. The findings of the study shows that demographic variables and work related variables does influence the organizational climate and role stress of the employees working in IT and IT'es. The present study suggests the management to focuses on the demographic and work related factors of the employees for better climate and reduced stress in the organization.
