Tradition and Modernity

Tradition flow with its theoretical basis and religious roots has enough strength and solidarity to make inactive the challenges created by modernity (e.g globalism (west globalism), consumptionism growth, west life style, and so on) and make answer to various questions about cultural, political and social issues in Islamic Republic of Iran. The kind of this study, is descriptive – analytical and it is done by library tools. The results of this study showed that the modernity effort in "Philosophic – Verbal" domain, to challenge with beliefs and Islamic mental principles, has been blighted, and a correct expression of political and philosophical principles of Islamic Republic of Iran was provided against secularism one. Also, It is showed that the secularism approach effort in "Juristical –Legal" structures and “Sociologism" face to failure.
