Architecture is a timeless subject of exploration and discovery, a highly creative and collaborative process resulting in the realization and modification, of a physical and artifact. The value derived by the process and the value delivered by the product over time to a multitude of users is influenced by the manner in which design intent is managed. This exploratory research is based on surveys, literature and case studies. This research argues and substantiates the findings that Architectural Management is an authoritative state-of-the-art resource for architects, academics and fellow contributors to our built environment, covering the entire construction process, from inception, design, construction, facilities and maintenance management, and does not readily lend itself to taxonomy requiring to be viewed holistically.
