The banking system is the backbone of the economy. The economic sustainability is achieved through the well organised and structured banking system. The traditional banking system does not support the winning strategy, because which focused more static procedures and process. The objective facing global competition may not be achieved with the traditional banking as now is the era of technology. Presently Indian banking system is in the midst of an Information Technology revolution. The huge competition among the banks has led to the increasing conversion of total banking system into computerization in the Indian banking industry. In this paper made an attempt to find out some of the major hazards and difficulties faced by Indian customers while using e-banking services and some recommendations are provided for both banks as well as customers for the safe and secured use of e-banking.
