Analysis of Performance Efficiency of Selected Indian Public Sector Banks to Achieve the Target Efficiency

Abstract

Efficiency of the banking performance is the financial strength of every nation. It implies the background of the nation. The present study aims to know about the performance efficiency of the selected Indian public sector banks. The efficiency was measured with the help of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) with the selected Inputs and Outputs. The results proofs that Oriental Bank of commerce has performed well during the selected periods and slack analysis was used to show the gap between bench mark bank (Oriental Bank of commerce) and resulted in the analysis.
