In this research paper, a detailed analysis was performed to profoundly study the tribological characteristics of pulse electro deposited Ni-Nano-Mg. This result is compared with base metal. For this research, samples were prepared according to the ASTM standard, and the test was carried out with the help of Pin-on-disk apparatus. To proceed further, RSM technique, 20 design of experiments (DoE) matrix was constructed to evaluate the tribological characteristics with three control variables such as pulse frequency, pulse duty cycle and pulse current density. The wear, frictional force and coefficient of friction are taken as output response. The results indicate that wear resistant is improved to 58.52% compared with uncoated sample. Moreover, ANOVA analysis revealed that the adequacy of the output response. Finally, the microstructure behaviour of the test samples was investigated for both coated and uncoated samples with the assistance of Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) to analyze the surface morphology.
